The Mokolo–Crocodile Water Augmentation Project (MCWAP-2A) represents a leading water infrastructure initiative designed to enhance long-term water security for the Lephalale region. The project brings together Sinohydro Africa and Entsika Consulting, forming the Metsi Ke Matla Joint Venture (MKM-JV), a strategic partnership that merges global engineering expertise with local empowerment and socio-economic transformation.
Commissioned by the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA), MKM-JV is mandated to deliver a fully integrated, high-performance water conveyance system that underpins South Africa’s industrial growth, community resilience, and environmental sustainability.
